Feral Forage is a performative practice that initially developed out of a search for alternative sources of food. This post-apocalyptic game has become a response to unsettling changes and an unstable economic situation.

 

As a personal choice for gastronomic downshifting, this practice is aimed at a diversification of food supplies and a discrediting of the consumerist narrative surrounding edibility through the marginalization of food (its exclusion from the institution of production).

 

Within the project, I explore the edible flora and fauna of city parks and suburban areas, organize dinners, cooking events and workshops and maintain a video blog.
